Becoming Catholic

Curious About Catholicism?

Have questions? Ready to dive in? It doesn't matter where you are. The path into the Catholic Church is a process of discernment and conversion. The first step is meeting with Sharon Hamaker, our Administrative Assistant, to find out how. You are always welcome!

OCIA - Order of Christian Initiation of Adults

The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults is the process through which adult men and women come to approach the Catholic Church for the first time and respond to God’s call to faith.

The OCIA process culminates with entry into the church through the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist during the Easter Vigil. OCIA is also available for Catholics (high school or adult) who wish to complete their initiation into the Church with Confirmation.

Beginning in September, OCIA sessions are offered on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00 p.m. in the parish hall.

If you are not Catholic and are interested in joining our faith and our parish, please contact Sharon Hamaker who will explain the process necessary to join the Catholic Church.
