Bereavement & Funeral Planning
Bereavement Ministry
Purpose:
Our mission is to reach out to families of church members and non-members alike, offering support and comfort during times of loss at the direction of our church pastor, especially when a request is made to the church.
Funeral Luncheon:
As a community, we are called to support and comfort those who mourn. The Funeral Luncheon Ministry at St. Mary’s of Bloomington offers bereaved families the option of holding a luncheon following a funeral. This gathering provides a place for family and friends to come together in fellowship during a difficult time.
Volunteer Opportunities:
We need volunteers to provide side dishes, assist with serving, and help with cleanup. Your support allows us to continue offering this ministry to families in need. If you feel called to help or want more information, please reach out.
